Mike Guevara, CPA, has been working with Non-Profit organization for over 30 years. He has served our country in the U.S. Navy, graduated from Illinois State University, and became a CPA in 1982.
He is the CEO and owner of Zion Financial in Rockford, IL. He previously was employed as a Senior Vice President with Mutual Reinsurance Bureau and continues to assist individuals and businesses with tax and accounting needs.
In addition to being fully employed on the corporate level of several organizations, he has provided accounting services to Non-Profit organizations, and has served as Treasurer on many Non-Profit Board of Directors including churches, pro Life organizations, para-church organizations and service organizations.
In addition, he has served on audit and finance committees and assisted sub-committees in dealing with various tax and accounting challenges.
Mike and his wife Sue have lived in Rockford for over 30 years and continue to be active in their local church. They have three sons; one serving in local politics; two in full-time ministry and one daughter in college.
Mike has been a Board Member of Health Professions Grant Fund, Inc. since its inception.
Dr. Jacob G. Caraotta is President of Medical Solutions Ministries, a mission’s organization promoting Physical, Mental and Spiritual Health and supporting those who are doing the same. This organization is serving people in the United States, Mexico, Costa Rica, Jamaica, and Israel. He and his wife travel abroad with medical teams to treat individuals in impoverished areas.
He is also president of Health Professions Grant Fund, a non-profit organization providing scholarships / grants to students and professionals in the health field, professional careers, or ministry.
Dr. Caraotta is originally from Buffalo, NY. His undergraduate study in pre-med was performed at Morehead State University in Kentucky. He later obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology in 1984 from The National College of Chiropractic and a Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1986. In 1993, Dr. Caraotta completed four years of post-doctoral orthopedic study and after successfully completing two national boards, became board certified as a Diplomat in the American Board of Chiropractic Orthopedics. Dr. Caraotta was the only physician in Rockford board certified in Chiropractic and Orthopedics for over 25 years.
Dr. Caraotta has been a member of the Christian Chiropractic Association since 1984. He has served as staff physician at Lakeside Community Hospital in Chicago, IL where he was an active member of the Hospital Utilization and Review Committee. Dr. Caraotta has also served as a chiropractic consultant for several insurance companies. He served four years on the Advisory Board Counsel at the Winnebago County Board of Health, has been a board member of the Samaritan House, BASE Institute, and President of the Institute of Christian Apologetics.
Dr. Caraotta has been the team physician for several semi-professional football teams including the Rock River Raptors, Beloit Titans, Rockford Riveters, Rockford Rams, and the Roscoe Rush.
Dr. Caraotta obtained theological training through Global University and holds ministry credentials with the Assembly of God fellowship. He and his wife, Celeste, are currently doing short term medical missions nationally and internationally, are active in their church, have four daughters, and reside in Boone County Illinois.
Mark Brynteson is a successful lawyer and businessman. He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biochemistry in 1980 and Juris Doctorate in 1989. Following graduation from Law School at Regents University, he formed his law firm with two colleagues and has been actively practicing for over 25 years.
Mr. Brynteson represented two not-for-profit Christian organizations. He was the Chief Operating Officer and acting Chief Financial Officer of two large multi-million dollar NFPs for eight years. One of these entities operated two radio stations, six HUD 202 retirement centers, and a K-12 school. The other aired weekly TV and radio shows on multiple media outlets. He also implemented risk management programs that promoted a safe environment for customers and reduced annual insurance premiums by $25,000.
Mark works extensively with buyers and sellers of residential property.
Mark also provides Estate Planning Services to the public. He assists people in their estate planning matters, be it the preparation of a will or trust, with personal concern. He believes in education-based planning, with the goal to educate people in their planning options and assist them in making informed quality decisions.
He and his wife reside in Belvidere, Illinois, and have raised 4 children to actively embrace their faith.

Celeste received a Business Degree at Western Illinois University with a concentration in Marketing. After college she worked as a trainer for TRT Telecommunications, in which she was flown around the United States training people on their equipment.
She then worked for Cellular Business Systems, a division of Cincinnati Bell, as a Client Support Representative was promoted to the Roaming Department, in which she was the Primary Manager.
She later used her business degree and prior experience to manage a chiropractic health care facility for over 25 years, consisting of 4 doctors, and 20 staff members. She served in multiple facets of the practice, including the billing department, hiring, firing, front desk, and therapy. She took the necessary classes to obtain an x-ray technicians license and was able to take x-rays in the practice.
Celeste is the mother of 4 beautiful daughters, and enjoys spending time with her family, playing games, watching movies, walking / hiking, taking pictures, family vacations and shopping. She has been an active member in her church coaching Junior Bible Quiz, serving in nursery, housing ministry students, and enjoys participating in food, clothing and toy drives.
Pastor Dale Anderson is the Manager of MSM, and has been in ministry for over 30 years. While working full time, he began serving in ministry as a youth pastor at First Assembly of God in Rockford, IL., as well as an associate Pastor at Riverside Assembly of God in Loves Park, IL. He later accepted a full time assignment as Lead Pastor of Belvidere Assembly of God in Belvidere, IL. where he served for over 24 years. Pastor Dale has served on several boards and in leadership positions appointed by his peers.
Prior to being in full time ministry, he held a management position at Warner Lambert Pharmaceutical Company in Rockford, IL. for 27 years. His position included a supervisory role in managing employees, quality control, problem solving and brainstorming to solve department issues.
Pastor Anderson's desire is to practice Colossians 3:23 in his life, serving the Lord heartily in whatever he does. He has most recently moved into the role of mentoring pastors and students in ministry as well as assisting the community by officiating funerals and weddings as needed.
Pastor Dale has been married to his wife Doris since 1967, has two daughters, 5 grandchildren, and enjoys hunting, fishing, reading, evangelistic outreach, and the outdoors.
Leah Cross is the Secretary of Medical Solutions Ministries. Her education currently entails an Associate of Arts of Business Administration and a Bachelors of Arts in Church Leadership through Southwestern Assemblies of God University. She is also presently completing and a Masters in Organizational Leadership through Harrison Graduate School. She aspires to one day be able to successfully lead a nonprofit organization.
Leah has worked in the nonprofit field for over two years while working at the Assemblies of God Family Services Agency and currently working at Missouri Baptist Children’s Home. While working with women, children, and families she has worked in residential services with human trafficking victims, transitional living programs, maternity homes and pregnancy services. She has the opportunity to administer food, shelter, and medication while teaching life skills to help these individuals succeed in life.
Leah had hands on ministry experience while being an intern at Life Church Leadership College in Roscoe, IL. She served as a youth group small group leader, producer, and event coordinator. She also had the opportunity to fundraise, volunteer and excel in her administration skills.
Leah currently resides in St. Louis with her new husband Benjamin. They enjoy exploring the outdoors and experiencing new adventures together
